Vantage Score
Vantage Score is a type of credit score. It is a credit score that was developed by the work of the three main credit reporting agencies Equifax, Experian and TransUnion. The Vantage Score offers consumers an alternative type of credit score to the popular FICO Credit Score. The VantageScore uses an individual's credit history to calculate a numerical representation of his credit worthiness. Creditors and lenders can use the VantageScore to assess a credit applicant's credit risk before extending terms to the person. The VantageScore looks at a person's payment history, credit utilization, credit balances, depth of credit, recent credit and available credit.
